Episode #4: Why Do We Wait?

Why do we think we are invincible to the inevitable: that we will someday die? Whether you are in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or ANY other age – you are giving a gift to your loved ones by thinking through and planning for what happens when you die.

Action items for this episode, that you should do NOW (no matter your age!):

  1. Sit down with your closest loved one; a spouse, sibling, parent, child or trusted friend. Who is the person you would trust to handle everything when you are gone?

  2. Start by making them a list of usernames and passwords for any monthly bill payments. This could be a Word document, a Google doc, or even a piece of paper that you handwrite.

  3. Make a contact list of important people that know your information; for example, your bank, your estate planning attorney, and the accountant you might use. “If something happens to me, here’s who to call!”

And remember: preparing yourself for something that may happen sooner than you want it to, or expect that it will, is not the same as manifesting it to happen!
